Nossa principal preocupação é potencializar a criação artística e política de comunicadores negrxs através da valorização da cultura, história e filosofia negra; ampliar o repertório e acesso a ferramentas para que jovens negrxs possam produzir sua comunicação, rede e networking; fortalecer a entrada de mulheres, pessoas negras e coletivos periféricos no mercado da comunicação e do audiovisual, gerando renda e autonomia para essa parcela da população.
Our primary concern is to empower the artistic and political creation of Black communicators by valuing Black culture, history, and philosophy. We aim to expand the repertoire and access to tools so that young Black people can produce their own communication, networks, and connections. Additionally, we seek to strengthen the inclusion of women, Black individuals, and marginalized collectives in the communication and audiovisual market, generating income and autonomy for this segment of the population.
Partindo do remix de tecnologias imersivas com estética, política, cultura, história e filosofia negra, os participantes tiveram o desafio de produzir outras histórias sobre a população negra e pobre das periferias inspirando-se na estética afrofuturista. E assim, puderam recriar novos mundos onde corpos negros são livres, podem dançar, viajar no futuro, se reconectar com seus ancestrais, viverem livres e em igualdade de condições.
Starting from the remix of immersive technologies with Black aesthetics, politics, culture, history, and philosophy, the participants were challenged to produce new stories about the Black and poor populations from the outskirts, drawing inspiration from the Afrofuturist aesthetic. In doing so, they were able to recreate new worlds where Black bodies are free, can dance, travel to the future, reconnect with their ancestors, and live in freedom and equality.
